Seventh Sin is a Dutch Gothic Metal band which was raised in 2003. De music of Seventh Sin, is best compared to bands like Nightwish and Theatre of Tragedy.

The name "Seventh Sin", is descended from the bible. The extend in which people give in to these sins, define whether they should go to heaven, purgatory or hell.

The seven sins are: pride, sloth, lust, wrath, gluttony, envy and avarice. The seven sins have also been the subject of the movie "Seven" with Brad Pitt.


At the moment Seventh Sin are working hard by writing their own music. Plans have been made to record a mini CD this year. As soon as Seventh Sin have finished their CD they are going to perform. The band will be competing in as many searching's for talent as possible.

Seventh Sin have agreed with the dutch dream metal band "Morning", but Also with dutch melancholic metal/rock band "Cardamon" and Female Fronted Metal Band "Antubis" to be performing together in the future.
