SICULICIDIUM BIOGRAPHY
Transylvanian Black Metal project titled after a massacre of January 1764 when Habsburg mercenaries slaughtered the villagers of Székely, burying the victims in a mass grave entitled Vészhalom ("Hill of death").
Siculicidium, following an opening demo "Transylvanian Resistance" in November 2003, shared a split cassette entitled "Splitorment" with Hungarian act Funebre through Mirgilus Siculorum Records. This session saw the introduction of drummer Khrul, a scene veteran of such acts as Funebre, RAVENSHADES and Ater Tenebrae. Native Pride Productions re-issued "Transylvanian Resistance" in 2004 in a limited edition of 150. This version included a cover version of Barathrum's "Vampire".
In May 2006 the band contracted with Hungary's Native Pride Production for an EP, limited to 500 copies, entitled 'Lélekösvény'.
