POCCOLUS BIOGRAPHY
Poccolus is a melancholic pagan black metal band from the town of Utena, Lithuania, created back in 1993. It is probably the first pagan black metal band in Lithuania, which chose Lithuanian mythology as a base for it's lyrics. The band's name refers to the ancient Prussian-Lithuanian god of Death and Darkness, Pikuolis. Unfortuantely, Poccolus has only released one full-length album, "Poccolus", in 1996. They have a demo too, "Kingdom of Poccolus", which was released in 1994. In the year of 2006, Poccolus' cult album "Poccolus" was brought back by SUPERNAL MUSIC, which re-released this "gem from the Baltic".
