There are two artists with the name Kolo:

1) Kolo is a Black/Folk Metal/Dark Ambient band from Ukraine featuring Munruthel of Nokturnal Mortum fame. The band has released one album so far, the self-titled KOLO in 2005. Kolo's music can be described as joyful folk melodies on electronica rhythms.


2) A band from Exeter that formed in the summer of 2005 by three former schoolmates, Kolo have established a large nationwide fanbase through a combination of their intensive gigging and the distribution of their acclaimed debut release, the 'Normandy House EP', to over 4,000 music lovers across the country for free.
Drawing influences from a wide range of their favourite artists (from The Jam to the incredible Beverley Craven), Kolo manage to incorpate operatic vocals, snappy 2 minute pop songs, attempted murder ballads, spanish salsas and trekking inspired indie-rock within their live set.
