The band was started off in late 2003. Stationing and operating in Poznan from its very beginning, IN TWILIGHT’S EMBRACE make the melody and brutality of death & thrash metal collide with hardcore energy and determination contributing to the European metal core genre. The music by IN TWILIGHT’S EMBRACE is always followed by the message being the crucial ingredient of the group’s creation: the permanent focus on human rights and crucial values defense, reflection on current political issues and modern society’s tendency and, last but not least, ecological/environmental awareness. The five-piece’s first self-titled demo CD (d.i.y., 2005) was soon followed up by the debut full length “Buried in Between” (LifeLine Records, 2006). The first release contains nine songs being a genuine mixture of fast, melodic death metal with hardcore breakdowns and expression – proving that these two styles can coexist perfectly. IN TWILIGHT’S EMBRACE’s sound reinvents the old school European metal (At the Gates, The Haunted) on one hand and contains some certain elements of today’s American metal core (Unearth, The Black Dahlia Murder) on the other one. “Buried in Between” received a positive feedback in reviews published by zines and websites in many different countries worldwide. Until now, IN TWILIGHT’S EMBRACE played over fifty live shows in Poland as well as beyond its western (Germany) and eastern (Russia, Lithuania, Latvia) borders, appearing alongside Heaven Shall Burn, To Kill and Faust Again to mention a few. Currently, the band is working on the new material and preparing it for being recorded in the end of 2007.
