IMPETIGO BIOGRAPHY
Impetigo was an Illinois-based band, often cited as one of the most influential of the 1980s and early 1990s extreme metal scene. In 2003, Razorback Records released Wizards of Gore, an Impetigo tribute album, featuring Blood Duster, Mortician, Machetazo, Impaled, Haemorrhage, Exhumed, Cock and Ball Torture, Lymphatic Phlegm, Last Days of Humanity, Gore Beyond Necropsy, Lord Gore, and more. Razorback Records has also released the "ultimate" Ultimo Mondo Cannibale rerelease, including the original artwork, liner notes by Stevo, live tracks, and the Faceless EP.
Meaning of Impetigo:
