Elvira Madigan is the one-man project of Marcus H Madigan. Using both growled and clean vocals, and a clear split between the guitar and keyboard patches, Madigan creates a unique a mixture of black, progressive and ambient metal. In 2005 the band released "Angelis Deamonae", a covers album which included version To Zanarkand (Uematsu Nobuo, Taken from Final Fantasy X Soundtrack), Spanish Train (De Burgh) and Iieee (Tori Amos).

Madigan is working on a new album, but due to various issues it will be released much later than originally intended.
