EXTINCT TRADITION LYRICS

Towards the Sky

"Towards the Sky" (2005 Demo)

1. Towards the sky
2. Supreme and Majestic
3. Petrokolos

1. Towards the sky

Icaros was dreaming of flying
as he was lying bellow the blackend sky
his dreams sooner became his reality
in his world he wasnt ought to die.

Soul of Icaros cries for his father
So high falls below the sky
Learn how not to be a tempted
Learn that only birds can fly

chorus:
When Dedalos built his Majestic wings
He haven’t thought of tragic end
He only want his son to rise
FLYING HIGH TOWARDS THE SKY!

Father and son were rising together
He hadn’t obeyed his father's words
Was too pride to be satisfied with his wish
The horibble sight of his eldest falls.

Soul of Icaros cries for his father
So high falls below the sky
Learn how not to be a tempted
Learn that only birds can fly

chorus:
When Dedalos build his Majestic wings
He hadn’t thought of tragic end
He only want his son to rise
FLYING HIGH TOWARDS THE SKY!

2. Supreme and Majestic

When Zeus made love to his sweet Alkmene
Hercules and Epicles were born,
Hercules was doomed to be the mighty one,
But Oristes was threatening his throne

Something halts the deadly snakes,
It’s the force of the mighty son
He will fight the evil ones ,
He's the son of Zeus, hail what has he done

IN LA ANTIQUA TERRA SU PRESENTE GUERRA,
POR LA ETERNA ERA; EL HONOR.

chorus:
Supreme and majestic the force of his hands
He´ll fight for Tbai on the side of the men
In the name of king zeus and eternal peace
Hercules you´ll conquere all of your fears

The prophecy of terresious is known to few,
He will slay wild beast and evil halks,
After years of fighting he will not pursue,
on Olympus together with the lords.

Something halts the deadly snakes,
It’s the force of the mighty son
He will fight the evil ones ,
He's the son of Zeus, hail what has he done

IN LA ANTIQUA TERRA SU PRESENTE GUERRA,
POR LA ETERNA ERA; EL HONOR.

chorus:
Supreme and majestic the force of his hands
He´ll fight for Tbai on the side of the men
In the name of king zeus and eternal peace
Hercules you´ll conquere all of your fears

3. Petrokolos

In a time of gods and wars
Our hero Petroklos was born
He died in the name of the mighty all Greeks
To fight for Achilles he swore.

Trojans fell just like the rain
From the fear of Achilles' sword
Petroklos wore the powerful shields
That belongs to his mate of war.

Chorus:
Glorious Petroklos the youngest of the warriors
Do not be tempted and gain fame in trying to save us
Petroklos - Warrior of Greece and gods
Slayed the Trojans and their sons
He tried to gain fame- kill them all
Glorious Petroklos ought to fall.

The ancient Troy on the Deadly shore,
A warrior without a fear
He was to proud, therefore he was too blind
His ashes were spread on sea.

Chorus:
Glorious Petroklos the youngest of the warriors
Do not be tempted and gain fame in trying to save us
Petroklos - Warrior of Greece and gods
Slayed the Trojans and their sons
He tried to gain fame- kill them all
Glorious Petroklos ought to fall.

So, as Apolon brought new life to Hektor's heart,
The Greeks were lost, their only hope was to die as heroes...
Then young Petroklos took Achilles' weapons and went to his last battle...
Hektor took his life and shields - and Achilles swore to revenge!

In a time of gods and wars
Our hero Petroklos was born
He died in the name of the mighty all Greeks
To fight for Achilles he swore.
