GOATWHORE BIOGRAPHY
Goatwhore is an American Blackened Death metal band formed in 1997 which fuses death metal's guitar distortion norms and technical drumwork with black metal's vocals, simplistic riffs and of course blasphemous lyrics resulting in a style referred to as "blackened death metal" though their early works tend to be more influenced by Black Metal, constantly adding more of a sludge influence. too.
With their in 2003 released album "Funeral Dirge For The Rotting Sun", they moved towards an even more Blackened Death metal sound which earned them comparison with artists such Behemoth and Deströyer 666 and even Celtic Frost now on metal blade with the new album a haunting curse
