DREADFUL SHADOWS BIOGRAPHY

Founded in 1993, Dreadful Shadows would arrive on the scene just in time to catch the wave of Goth Rock's comming of age; though even first impressions would prove they were far from just another face in the crowd.

Eventhough their music did little to stray from "what everyone else" was doing at the time, Dreadful Shadows quite simply did it better than most of them. The rocked out numbers are nicely hooked and accentuated with moments of brash outlet while the softer bits resonate their stark, haunting arrangements with unabashed vulnerability; all bolstered by Sven's superb vocal and lyrical contributions.

While Dreadful Shadows disbanded in 2000, they leave behind a fistful of great music and a high water mark for Goth Rock to come. Sven and Norman went on to form the band Zeraphine and Jens joined up with Thanateros as well as working on his own label, Andromeda Records.
