Heavily influenced by Terrorizer, Brutal Truth and Slayer, World Downfall incorporate Grindcore, Crust and Death Metal influences.

Based in Cologne/Germany, they recorded a first DIY full-length release (Last Step Before The Fall) in 2003 which can be downloaded for free on their website.

Lyrics deal with "injustice of man towards his own species and hist environment" and for the politics, the band "distances itself explicitly from the currently growing nazi-asshole-movement which regrettably infected even the so called 'scene'".

There is a second band named World Downfall from Japan, who play in a similar style. Both bands are named after Terrorizer's classic first album.
