  WHITECHAPEL BIOGRAPHY
There are multiple bands with the name Whitechapel:

1. Whitechapel are a six-piece brutal deathcore band from Knoxville, TN. Three heavily distorted guitars, blistering fast drumming, and deep gutteral vocals allow Whitechapel to engulf it's listeners in a wall of heavy, brutal, and occasionally melodic sound. The band has a recurring theme of Jack the Ripper, hence being named after the area of London (England) where the killer found his victims. They are signed to Metal Blade Records and have had a rapidly growing fanbase ever since their debut CD "The Somatic Defilement" was released July 31st, 2007. The CD has been critically acclaimed as one of the heaviest and most unforgiving CDs of 2007 and a great debut for what could possibly be the next big thing in todays diluted underground metal scene.

2. A Spanish folk band.
