Unholy Matrimony is a Melodic and Brutal Black Metal Band from Switzerland, it is another project of the multi-instrumental genius Vladimir Cochet. He is responsible for all the lyrics, music, vocals, bass, guitars, drums, synths and programming. He plays and records all the songs in his bedroom, although the sound quality is not bad at all.
Vladimir Cochet has four projects besides Unholy Matrimony, which are Mirrorthrone (Dark Symphonic Extreme Metal), Weeping Birth (Brutal Black Death Metal), deafening loneliness (Dark Electro Ambient) and Accursed Journey (Melodic Doom Metal).

Unholy Matrimony currently has two full-length albums: 2002's Love and Death, and 2003's Misologie. Each album contains punishing black metal in one of its most extreme forms, yet with a melodic touch.
