THE ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB BIOGRAPHY
The Electric Hellfire Club is an industrial metal band mixing elements of glam metal, techno, gothic rock, psychedelia and experimental noise. The band's music, described as "electro evil," contains numerous Satanic themes, along with celebrations of evil, violence, sex, devil worship, and mass murder. The band also makes use of sampling, mainly from grindhouse horror films and criminal documentaries.
Despite often having a tongue in cheek approach in many of their songs, The Electric Hellfire Club members have always had an authentic approach to Satanism, rather than using it simply for "shock value". Much of their publicity has come from raising the ire of religious conservatives, and the band even allowed themselves to be interviewed by evangelical author and talk-show host Bob Larson.
