TEMPLE OF THE ABSURD BIOGRAPHY
Temple of the Absurd is a female fronted trash metal band. It was founded in 1992 by the HOLY MOSES the singer Sabine Classen, Schrödey (g), Mike (g), Ozzy (b) and Phil (d) as a temporary project for the Dynamo Open Air. After HOLY MOSES disbanded, Temple of the Absurd became a full-fledged band. Their first album, Temple of the Absurd, was released in 1995.
In 1997, Mike, Phil and Ozzy left the band for personal / healt reason. They were replaced by Big M. (d) and Maurer (b). In 1999, shortly after the release of their second album Mother, Creator, God, the label went bankrupt. Two years later, in 2001, Sabine started a reunion with her former band HOLY MOSES.
