Here's a young melodic death metal band that finally sets itself
apart by demonstrating the perfect balance between hanger and
harmony. Following the path of older Dark Tranquility and In
Flames, Shades of Dusk will soon be known for its strong epic
melodies and impeccable musicianship. Also sharing common musical
bonds with Arsis and Neuraxis, this group will turn lots of heads
in 2006. "Caress the Despair", the band's stunning debut was
produced and mixed by none other than Yannick St-Amand (Despised
Icon, Beneath the Massacre).

In late 2006 the band got a new drummer, Sebastien Pilon, who is also in the band Insan3.

Shades of Dusk are planning on heading back to the studio to work on a new album in 2007.
