SATARIEL BIOGRAPHY
Satariel was formed in 1993 by Pär Johansson, Mikael Degerman and Magnus Alakangas. Their primary idea was to play as brutal metal as possible influenced by Darkthrone and similar bands. They recorded their first demo "Thy Heavens' Fall" in 1994 containing six songs of mid-tempo black metal.
Their debut album "Lady Lust Lilith" was released in 1998 by which time their style had changed towards more melodic brand of black and death metal. Continuing on that road and approaching a more modern sound they have released two more full-lengths: "Phobos & Deimos" in 2002 and "Hydra" in 2005.
