Story began in the early 2005. Aggressive metal was and is the way we wanted to go with our music. Our energetic stage performance convinces any crowd and doesn't make it easy to play either. Proof of this is over 30 played gigs and several band-competition victories.

In our hometown (Kouvola) and near areas Phantom Pain has gained a big popularity by its songs and live shows. But the aggression consumes the band, and original members are only the vocalist Tomppa and guitarist Axa. Especially on the lead guitarist’s place has been "windy". Though now the line up seems stronger than ever, so maybe the changes are done.

Pauliina brings some melodies to Phantom Pain’s music, by her beautiful voice on couple of songs, and gives a nice change for the usual head banging.

The new 5 song demo was recorded with this current crew on January 2007 and it will bring Phantom Pain’s music to a new level. On the gigs we need to push it even harder, cause after all Phantom Pain is a live-band.
