PESTILENCE BIOGRAPHY
Pestilence were a death metal / thrash metal band from the Netherlands founded in 1986. Later they incorporated more jazz and fusion influences in their music. They released four albums before disbanding in order to pursue other musical directions in 1994.
Pestilence gave rise to some of the greatest death metal bands of the Netherlands, amongst others. Severe Torture who has really taken the style of Pestilence to a new level incorporating their music into brutal death metal.
