About Ocularis Infernum

::2002::

Andris (guitar) and Agris (ex-drummer) forms a band called "Blood Of Maids" to play raw black metal. After a short time they join forces with Normunds (ex-guitar).

::2003::

In 2003 Kristiâna(vocal) joined the band. After a short amount of time Magnuss(keyboards/back vocal) joined. Band name was changed to Ocularis Infernum and the music was getting more melodic. Agris leaved the band.

::2004::

The band recorded demo album - In Saecula Saeculorum. First GIG at club "Saxophone". After the first GIG Andrejs(bass) joins the band.

::2005::

Second GIG at Gulbene in festival "High Times". Third GIG in "Battle Metal Night" with well known band "Turisas". Normunds leaves the band and Jânis joins to play the rhytm guitar.

::2006::

Band plays in th only latvian metal open air festiaval - "Metalshow.lv" @ Blome, which occurs 7-8 july, where they share the stage with legendary Pungent Stench, other guests from foreign countries and the strongest latvian bands. Drummer Justs joins the band. He plays only one gig with the band and leaves because of studies in Great Britain. Then shortly after that drummes Eduards joins.

::2007::

Ocularis Infernum wins the metal band contest "Fresh Blood". By winning this contest, the bands song is added to latvian metal sampler - "Black Friday". Band starts to record their first album.
