MORTIFERA BIOGRAPHY
Mortifera is the side project of Noktu and Neige from the French black metal band Celestia. Formed sometime in 2001 in the French city of Nimes, the band has released an EP, a full-length and a split album with the Russian black metal band Blackdeath. Their style is similar to that of Celestia, and their full-length release includes a cover of a Celestia song. Despite all the similarities, there are key differences. Mortifera has more of a straightforward sound, with no synth or over-dramatic themes. They keep it simple, occasionally using acoustic guitar.
