MOON BIOGRAPHY
1. Moon was a polish band, dark (symphonic) black metal founded by Cezar - the leader of Christ Agony - one of the oldest and famous polish metal group.
2. The Moon, on the other hand, was a Los Angeles based soft-rock / sunshine-pop group based around singer/songwriter Matthew Moore and drummer/producer Larry Brown. They released two albums - "Without Earth" in 1967, and "The Moon" in 1969.
3. And then there are Moon. A german band, consisting of Verena Johann (Vocals), Oli Beier (Keyboard and Laptop), Martin Lowis (Guitar and Laptop), Marc Bierbaums (Bass), Gerph Niebur (Drums). Founded in 2003, they have so far released an 4-track EP, with a full album awaiting release (as of 2006-11). Their sound might best be decribed as electronic pop with trip-hop influences.
4. Moon is also a name of a Finnish band that later became Moon Cakes. It published one album "Your sincerely". The music is sort of indie rock. It is melancholic, even depressive, but rhytmic and somehow positive at the same time.
