The Mark of Cain are based in Adelaide, Australia, and have been described as "one of the best and most brutal bands around today." Begun in 1984, the band has released four albums (the most successful, 1996’s Ill At Ease, produced by Henry Rollins), as well as numerous singles and EPs. The Mark of Cain has also worked with the illustrious Steve Albini, while drummer (Stanier) is best known for his signature work with seminal band, Helmet, prior to joining T.M.O.C.
