1. Fires of Tradition
Old things and abandoned
Remains of ended lives
Ruins of human destinies
Gathered up for it's fuel
Obscure remembrance
Of all things past
Time of celebration
And a time of great sorrow
Time to feast and rejoice
But also to bare the grudge
Blood by blood, wound by wound
Suomalainen juhannus
2. Eyes of Uncaring Cold
Gaze into the hateful blue
The eyes of uncaring cold
Driven deep into your mind
Forever loathing you
Depressed at your words
Sickened by your thoughts
Strangled in the human flesh
yes scars are keys are scars
Rubbing gun-powder
In the wounds
Not much sense in this world
All that of nature is raped
And you still remain prosperous
Gaze into the hateful blue
The eyes of uncaring cold
Driven deep into your heart
Forever making you sick
3. Itkuraivarit Ja Itsemurha
Vituttaa
Vituttaa
Vituttaa
Vituttaa
Tapan itseni
Tapan itseni
4. Before
There used to grow moss
On this rock and on those firs
Darkness used to comfort
Under their branches
Between those cliffs
A creek once streamed
Its water too cold
For lips to touch
Behind the heavy clouds
A sun used to shine
Bright as its wintry gleam
Reflecting from melting ice
In the barren hut on the shore
The rain now drums the roof
In silence I mourn
Of the loss on my kin
What has become of this land
When was the spirit slain
Where now stand the ancestral shrines
Why was the heritage abandoned
That which once flourished
Must now in ruins lie
But from this wretched soul
Old ways never die
5. From Ruins to Victorious Triumph
In this deep, wet cave
Buried from all human thought
I silently wait
For my master's call
I do not care
For the earthly pleasures
Of humanity
I couldn't care less
I couldn't care less
The human morals
Abandoned since ages
The surge within
Left nothing behind
Along with the unseen
I shall rise
From ruins to victorious triumph
My time is yet to come
I do not care
For the earthly pleasures
Of humanity
I couldn't care less
I couldn't care less
Couldn't fucking care
The human morals
Abandoned since ages
The surge within
Left nothing behind
Along with the unseen
I shall rise
From ruins to victorious triumph
My time is yet to come
6. Crystal Lakes
For decades now
These pools have served
As mass graves
For my sacrifices
In the spring
My senses awake
And I greet
The blessed souls
Of those that I have chosen
Selected from the ranks
Of mediocrity
This is the pit
That I have dug
Here is where I drink
...and drown
Here I nourish
The sheep's heart
During the tides
With moon's passion
I have quenched my hunger again
Now wandering amidst the crystal lakes
The journey has no direction
The soul is already home
7. The Oak and the Rope
Walking with my frozen thoughts
Embraced by despair I sought for
Calling for the final gates
But will they let me in?
Seeking for the timeless tree
Whose branches never yield
She's beared the age of a century
She can bare my mortal weight
The oak and the rope
With tears in my itching eyes
Howling dreams are chasing me
Back to live, to see another day
But I refuse to hope again
8. Pale Wretched Horizon
Winter clouds hover low
Shaking hands with the mist
One gray alliance (of)
Nature's mystic charm
Over the home in the woods
Silence has landed
Poetry of the wretches
So pale and cold
Freezing atmospheric view
Over ice-covered lake
The trees are struggling hard
To carry all the snow
Over the house in the woods
Silence has landed
Poetry of the wretches
So pale and cold
White, towering icicles
Formed by the rising steam
A warm reminder
From gaps in the soil
9. Old Bark
The sun shares its last rays
a river bathes under the spell
A piece of bark floats across the rocks
as a starling bids farewell
She sinks behind the tree tops
and the starling takes his leave
The piece of bark floats onwards
'til a lake so cool and deep
Surrounded by a ghostly mist
the old bark now stands still
A choir of nightly birds
sing their lullaby until...
A clan of men in iron
Make their way along the shore
Of steel and shining armour
The trees stand still in awe
Yet another human herd
Their end this night shall meet
But the piece of bark cares not
When sinking into the deep
The moon now appears
in the sky above the woods
The blood of weakling peasants
nourishes the roots
An old pine at the river bank
once again his skin sheds
A piece of old, dry bark
drops to the river bed
The pale moon still glimmers
the river bathes under the spell
A piece of bark floats across the rocks
as the night bids farewell
as the night bids farewell
10. Forever North
Blazing winter fires
Unforgiving frost
Snow blinds the eyes
That seek for light
Hopes are suffocated
Under a pillow of ice
Every breath a razorblade
Carving in the lungs
Born to bare the legacy
Born of stronger blood
Stubborn customs of pride
Heritage of honorable men
Both sword and greed
Have drowned the wisest of men
Hiding the rage inside
Never uttering the miseries
Blazing winter fires
Forever north
11. Hibernation
Starlight flickering
A fire in the night
Human misery
The ultimate source of strength
Peripheral glimmering
Of the growing flames
Hibernation
Veins hot with eternal blood
The subtle sound
Pyre crackling
Drifts of snow
Slowly melting away
And returning to ice
Surrounded by steam
Inhaling nocturnal fog
Beasts howling at the moon
Nature buried under snow
Breathing silently
Under the frost
Under the frost
Hibernation
Might veiled for centuries
Sleeping with passion and patience
To be once awakened
By malicious call
Of a starless eternity
An entity free of form
Darkness without breath
12. Aegolius Funereus
A twig cracks in silence
The sun draws below the horizon
The whispers among the trees
Unheard by plugged years
Night's wisdom
In the owl's eye
A glimmering spark
Watching over the lands
No action, no thought
Undetected by its stare
Mesmerizing, everlasting
The knowledge is sinking in
Night's wisdom
In the owl's eye
A glimmering spark
Watching over the lands
For eras of man's kin
The nocturnal hunter has reigned
Supreme in wisdom
With knowledge of grief to come
Reflection of the full moon
In the owl's eye
A glimmering spark
In the freezing forest
In the heart of the wild
One can hear the call
Blood running faster now
Listening to the funeral bells...
13. White Night
When the sun no longer sets
When the air is warm through the night
When the midnight fires burn
When the tribes will gather
When the knives will shine again
When the words of hate will spring
When the night is white
When the morning never comes
When the dreams are all disturbed
White night
