Beyond the black peaks of Kith and wastelands of old
Beyond the hills of standing stones is a region so dark and cold
There is a man who lives there
Or so they say
In a broken home by the ocean, lost in lunacy
He's a priest to the one who sleeps
Blind Azathoth who dwells....
Within the central void
The slumbering miasma resting uneasily
To the beat of cursed drums and alien melodies played upon flutes of bone this god sleeps within his throne...

4. The Road to Dunwich
While traveling the road to Dunwich
so many dark years ago
It was then that I heard it
From above came the fathers call
It was heard in the night
out on Sentinel Hill
Where it is said the Gods live still
On Sentinel Hill, figures were dancing
and celebrating something unknown
It would happen on this night
Yog-Sothoth would arise
On this Samhain night behold...He arrives
Yog-Sothoth arise
My mind quivers at the thought of what I saw
A break in reality, a gate to outer spheres
And lowering from the crack in the unreal skies
Came a tendril of cylopean size
I remember people running from thier homes outside to see
As the horror from above descended to the streets

A dreamer dreams of a place beyond
A distant city now hidden by the Gods
And as he wakes tears fill his eyes
There must be a way to reach this paradise
So tonight in his dreams he will devise
His path to reach atop Kadath and rise
To the sea

To the plains of Leng...
Traveling to a distant shore
Past Ancient Celephais
To the strange port city
Where black galleys wait
But young Carters journey is not at an end

The sight of deep ones...blasphemous fish-frogs in the streets
They call out names queer and strange
Cthulhu Fhtagn...Dagon!!!!

The chanting of this esoteric cult...
I've seen...in the waters beyond the reef
Shadows...shadowy figures in the deep

Midsummer night...the dogs are howling at the moon
The moon is bright and the night air reeks of doom
Curse this damn night...I know that it will show me
Through second sight, things I dont want to see
I slip into a dream, on this dreadful night
Somethings within the trees, my soul shivers with fright
On this dark night ancient rites are taking place
They're black as night, they have strange markings on their face
I see them in the dark
The dark priest of the night
I see them raise the knife
I witness the sacrifice...
And in the clearing they speak in unknown tongues
Dancing round the fire built for the ancient god
