I gave my life to the overwhelming power of the sea
Not to end, but to start again
I gazed once more and then the cold got to me

A sick stream runs through my veins
Some demonic chemistry within
Desire of the flesh, corruption of the soul

I'm sitting here in silence, unknowing by blindness
it's strange though I don't know where I am
The men here are dressed in white and they keep us locked at night

I feel so imprisoned, I can't be free

The light at the end was blinding white

Do you know what public opinion can do to you?
It can break you, turn you from the man you once was
I've become a stranger to the mirror, my reflection messed up
So many people teaching me I'm not who I thought I was
Abusing my mind with questions, leading only to more confusion
The endless struggle with myself, now turned into war

It can crush you, no one loves you, and you'll stay alone

Behold, my lovely angel for I still roam in your shades
Thou art my muse, and since I saw such beauty, my heart desired more
O thou noble lord, shall we switch places then, for I'd like to know as to be you
Nor night nor day can surpass thou beauty ever
As so must I stay in your shades forever
Thou wisdom makes me blind,
I know it's but a dream that binds
Apart we must stay for eternity
But my heart will always desire Thee
I am not other than yourself, so don't place me on a throne
Thou art as much of an angel as me.
Let us by the stars, so bright, then be bound to an angelic life
No it's not safe to bind two angels for their glow can fade away

The day we met I took a rose, resembling our destined love
Each day it grows now along with my feelings for you, look above
I'm following your footsteps in the night,
I'm the disappearing shadow every time
I'm the one you feared all your life,
still hoped to meet, somehow we're bound
Now every night when I fall asleep all alone, I dream of you
The rose dying with my heart, a blessing I need, it's true
The story foretold two souls bound in agony, forced to meet

I'm a man, drilled by society
Joined without free will
I kill to fulfill their needs
The system made me what I am
A machine, not a real man
We're all soldiers to the world
and we're burning it down for good
Follow the rest
