NOTRE DAME LYRICS
"Thrillogy" (2000 Video/VHS)
1. Bouffoon Bloody Bouffoon 2. Spiderella's XXX 3. Scarecrows
1. Bouffoon Bloody Bouffoon
[Obviously, these are not the lyrics–they are notes about the song]
The first story "Bouffoon Bloody Bouffoon" originally appeared on Vol. 1: Le Théâtre Du Vampire. It´s heavily inspired by the film noir-era and particularly by the 1922 silent movie classic Nosferatu. It features the Puppeteer femme fatale (Vampirella) who pulls the strings of the odd little orchestra´s (dis-)members, three tragicomic and macabre marionettes (Snowy & De Sadistic bros). Filmed in a Paris theatre ´98 by Charlie Storm. Here in a new improved re-mixed killer version done by Rizza of Oz and Snowy at Los Angered Recordings.
2. Spiderella's XXX
[Obviously, these are not the lyrics–they are notes about the song]
The second story, "Spiderella´s XXX", is for lack of better word based around the more superficial side of the ambiguous lyrics, for the obvious benefit of a crypt-like creepy and impressively gloomy impact. The whole otherworldly spectacle was captured on that by time so typical super 8 film for a distinct authentic style and quality by Dan Ramon Chalderon on various locations in Paris and Gothicburg during the dirty black summer of 2000. If you´re an old school shock-rocker I bet you´ll notice some slight similarities to Alice Cooper´s 1975 master-piece "Welcome To My Nightmare", maybe a few grains from the cult-classic Scooby Doo was stirred down into the cauldron too. Even the Misfits notorious name was heard as a ghastly whisper among the fortunate few at last night´s midnite preview... It´s sticky as hell, so be careful where you step if you don´t want to get yourself entangled and wrapped up in her web or boobie-trapped in the claws of the beautiful black widow performed by Vampirella, who else!?
3. Scarecrows
