Pervaded by a mysterious melancholy
Did I betray the imprisoned life
I am floating through a lurid void
Lurking deep beneath
Gloom rules my existence now
With the dead I wanted to be Never found life

Materialising on the lake by the castle

Condemned to expiate my mortal sin
And erring through the grim cemetery in the valley
Finding no repose in the midday heat
Or any shelter when the bleak winter winds
