Awoken straight up in my bed I sat
Urging a loud, but silent scream
Because the nightmare I begat
Was of a death and doom theme
My vision was as follows,
A vision of reality and hidden wisdom
"I heard the rising noise of clattering hoofs
and the fluttering of several wings
I sensed a large armed force was on the move
though my vision was shattered by clouded rings
shining so bright I had to cover my face
Suddenly I experienced I was locked in chains
Covered in my prison of mucking cloudy lace
And on the floor I saw humanoid remains"
Sweat all over my body
I remembered the game we played
A ritual of conjuring the spirits
And we didn't fail
They came
And they went
But they've never left my soul
"The memory of my dream did not fade
I felt a needle injected into my head
I was shocked, and I still understate
Trying to remove it, I saw my hands were red
my chest uncovered, unveiling a black heart
I clamped my face, now no longer a face
but a pale skull, the flesh had had its depart
