1. The Cold Open
A struggle between darkness and light, as day and night fight for the horizon. Our sanctuary has been breached by the irradiant serpent of knowledge, and our discernment has been subverted with forked tongue duplicity. Our patriarch has become the ghost of a fallen age, leaving us with nothing but a dying sun and rumors of a secret war.
2. It's the Apathy That Calls Them Here
They're slowly approaching in the dark. You can feel the vulture's breath on your neck.
3. Irrefutable Evidence For a Skeptic (3:15 A.M.)
This nightmare runs into reality, an affliction of hollow eyes, burnt into my mind, those whispered lies, burnt my mind. Manifestations of death and horror, illusions of grandeur, a hope to survive or the merits of suicide, a snake in the grass lying in wait. Serpent I'll find you, Serpent I'll find you out. At my bedside awaits an evil, a shadow of a man, my screams are reduced to whispers, and at my bedside awaits an evil, a shadow of a man, my blood begins to boil. Awake to see, a sea of fallen angels. The hand of malice wraps around your spine, into your mouth, then into your mind. Sipping on stagnant water, watching the infection fester, sinking into the fire, mistaking this pain for pleasure, sipping on stagnant water, watching the infection fester, sinking into the fire, the pain set in and it begins. With one spoken word, it retreats into the corner, in a spasmodic blur, it retreats into the corner, with one spoken word, it retreats into the corner.
4. The New 2007 Model Human
I can see the human assembly lines, millions of heads are waiting for their bodies, and as they wait the manuscripts that make a man: are being pushed through their ears with frail mechanical fingers. The heads are filled to the maximum capacity with regurgitated rhetoric. The heads are fastened to their bodies. They're now ready for the job market, they're ready for the meat market. Whore yourself. I can see the human assembly lines, millions of heads are waiting for their bodies, and as they wait the manuscripts that make a man: are being pushed through their ears with frail mechanical fingers. Whore yourself to save yourself. Well this one here comes with pre-programmed emotions, a face-value belief system, content with limited freedoms, and a dependency on the dealership. I can see the killing fields, ripe for the harvest, just like sheep to the slaughter.
5. The Summits Burn
If the veil were to be lifted from our callow gaze and our existence split wide open, it would expose a torrential theater of war encompassing our rootless pursuits of fulfillment. If the cloak were to be lifted from the eyes of humanity, allowing us to see the elaborate strands of things that may or may not come to pass. Things concealed by cataracts designed to preserve our wits. If our ears no longer remain silent to the harmonies and dissonance of overtures that saturate the skies and omit the ossicles, then our negligence will become our noose.
6. Macabre Vow
This is the longest night I can recall, a constant reminder of my great fall. I can't fake it at all; I can't fake it at all anymore. In the lap of misery, I can feel their pain; in the lap of misery, I can barely breathe. I can't fake it at all; I can't fake it at all anymore. In the lap of misery, I can feel their pain; in the lap of misery. I can't shut my eyes, I can't shut my eyes or a flood of carnage, comes in with the rising tide, I can't shut my eyes. In restlessness I lie awake tonight, waiting for the moon to become crimson red, and seal my fate for this life I've faked. The birth of the sun I anticipate. This is the longest night I can recall.
7. The Cancer That Devours My Dreams, And Takes Dominion Over My Nightmares
* The Cancer: This lucid existence is my evolution.
* The Skeptic: So a lucid position? Well that can't be.
* The Cancer: It's a dream that seems just like, just like reality, where I can be whatever I want to be. It's easy to see why they all love me. Everything is simple, and you can't help but feel free.
* The Skeptic: So this lucid existence leads into a lucid a lucid position? Well now I cant breathe.
* The Cancer: It's a dream that seems just like, just like reality, where I can be whatever I want to be. It's easy to see why they all love me. Everything is simple, and you can't help but feel free.
* The Skeptic: What if this dream becomes a nightmare, and I can't escape the fear? And it becomes a dream that seems just like reality, where have a mountain of burdens on top of me, and nobody even notices I can't get free, and you can't help but feel so empty.
* The Cancer: I know your name and number
* The Skeptic: I can't escape this fear
* The Cancer: I know your name and number
* The Skeptic: I awake to hear!
8. A Poorly Tailored Man-Suit
I can see this so clear, you have your hands over my eyes and your tongue pushed through the back of my throat, taking control and creating a monster out of me. These thoughts are not my thoughts; I'm not the commander of these hands, and those piercing eyes. Oh those piercing eyes! Wish death upon those who try to stop them, even if it's me. This is the end. Push it out, push it far away, push it out, I'm my own enemy. These thoughts are not my thoughts; I'm not the commander of these hands, and those piercing eyes. Oh those piercing eyes! Wish death upon those who try to stop them, even if it's me; Even if it happens to be me. It's eating me alive from the inside. From the inside, until I die. I'm left alone with nothing more but this thick skin, and the emptiness is filled with nothing more than discontent for the only one that loves this empty shell of a man anymore. Oh the only one that loves this empty shell of a man anymore! It's eating me alive from the inside until I die.
9. A Critical Proposal
One must understand there is a world that is unseen, an evil that is bent on the destruction of mankind and the rule of the enemy. An enemy with cloven feet; a champion of deceit. The longer one is blinded to these truths the more ground is lost to our adversaries. The only true way to illuminate this reality, hidden in plain view, is to think for ones self and to question every falsehood, camouflaged as doctrine. Understand brothers and sisters we fight not for the freedoms so loosely tolerated by the powers that be, (but for the freedoms predestined by our father and received at the dawn of mankind). End the rein of ignorance, stand up and receive your morning star, and may we be the illuminated ones.
10. The Face Of Neglect
What will become of you when the world is over? Those of us who wear not the clothes of sheep are no wolves. We are dogs, asleep by the hearth of progress. What will fill your idle stomach when your master's heart is still? The paltry knowledge you thought worth keeping slips through the cracks of the mind you never had to use until now. You know of so many splendid inventions that would improve your predicament, but your fingers are ignorant. After the end of all things, what will you contribute, aside from an empty head and a pair of soft hands?
