1. Spiritual Void
Irrational decisions, subconscious infliction
Religions dividing, Imposing their visions of earth
Riding the fury of others
Aspiring inert mounds of martyred flesh
Reckless collection of minds
Canning words and maggots hook
False prophets to die by the book
Stealing dreaming souls blind
New world age of bible farce
More the filth of words they are
Suited brown and green and black
Whores that dare stare spirits down
Stilted masks don spewing crowds
Dismal, reflective
Sick in human flaws they weep
Vomit egos brawl and rule
World visions collide
Within this spirit void hold nothing true
Dying for your ideas
Subsidies, the joke's on you
Subconscious denial, religious infliction
Sordid, destructive, disgusting spirits of earth
Fanatics corrupting,
Embroiling the childish and desperate
Hateful icons spread their mould
Graceless, stoic, useless
Desperate frenzied twisted souls
Dying to worship their void.
2. City of Envy
The flake of strong intake and lies despise the wake of a dream,
This stream: this seam of bowels and psyche, psychically forbade a tie,
Withheld the lie of a million burning voices
Of old.
Flowers with half a burn must turn...
Must turn, and brain to wait...
And brain to wait so talk...
Lances will bleed the body to burn, and grin will the spirit within;
Spit in the eye of one who cares and dares to walk at my side:
Oh glorious pride...
Underlining the flaws within... could they win?
Cursing a friend to hasten the end of a farce called eternity...
Of a farce called eternity.
Flowers with half a burn must turn, and brain to wait so talk to me...
And brain to wait so talk to me.
The facts that permeate this act
Crown us all with wretched hate,
Lay waste to all that is known...
And lay the wicked on their throne:
Willing erosion of sanctity;
Bleeding the eye in which my vision holds
Of old,
Such molten strings of destiny...
Behold!...
A hail of burning voices.
Close at my side and strong, they help me burn inside;
Vexed noble spirits show me there is hope for human kind...
3. No God With Me
Fury with strength another fine line, to rhyme with care,
And tread the thread bare: longer than time, thinner than air,
In spite of its length,
By compulsion, wine, that the soul transcends
At it twilight's end.
They speak to me in my dreams
In grotesque, gaping screams of silence;
Onlooking eyes of nothing stare:
This grotesque vacuum has taken form
"See that I, even I, am he,
And there is no God with me,
I kill and I make alive,
I have wounded and I heal,
And there is none that can deliver out of my hand." [Deut. 32:35]
None of this is real, all of it makes sense;
Fractal vortex iterates recurrence in a dream:
Brooding sordid vacuum.
Within the sordid winter in my mind:
Diesel nausea, a sick sun never sets.
Beyond the gleaming liquid karmic flaws:
Demons wait at crossroads.
Evading definition, eclipsing the sun,
Recruiting my compulsion, whispering:
All of this is real, none of it makes sense.
The anguished face of total need,
Its fractal vortex iterates:
"See that I, even I, am he,
And there is no God with me,
I kill and I make alive,
I have wounded and I heal,
And there is none that can deliver out of my hand."
4. Come to Dust
Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy worldly task hast done,
Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages:
Golden lads and girls all must,
As chimney-sweepers, come to dust.
Fear no more the frown o' the great
Thou art past the tyrant's stroke;
Care no more to clothe and eat;
To thee the reed is as the oak:
The sceptre, learning, physic, must
All follow this, and come to dust.
Fear no more the lightning-flash,
Nor the all-dreaded thunder-stone;
Fear not slander, censure rash;
Thou hast finish'd joy and moan:
All lovers young, all lovers must
Consign to thee, and come to dust.
No exorciser harm thee!
Nor no witchcraft charm thee!
Ghost unlaid forbear thee!
Nothing ill come near thee!
Quiet consummation have;
And renownýed be thy grave!
5. Ruin
6. Journey Into the Sun
7. Body Temples of Sorrow
Fragments of destiny forged in the embers of my soul
Burning with agony, the angst of future's burning hole
This world stands before us, a representation
Our souls within these coils, imprisoned by perception
Cast aside like the remnants of a dream
Mortal coil imprisoned in nightmares of fury of denial of hatred and grief
Bloodied by deception these hands will kill again
Stronger than the gravestones of belief
Our daylight nightmares hold the truth,
As blades of enlightenment tear into my dream like shards of morning
sunlight
Of a burning reality...
The birth of tragedy
Spared the limits of my humanity
My spirit spans the scene
Unborn victim of control
A ring etched forever in my soul
Wasted lives of tomorrow
Body temples of sorrow
8. Fury
In my mind it is clear, a truth within, I hold the key;
Through the fields of joy, at times of pain, I am fury.
Nurture the food of my disgust, their pain will easy my victory;
Before despondent, insecure, now focused on reality.
My soul can shape the mould of time, I am a chosen entity;
Defy the gaping wounds that cry: Fury is now becoming me.
Tired of reading lies, stretched wretched whore,
Soul searching plea.
Lies nurture my discontent, sick of the same cursing voice.
I will spit on your graves.
9. Intermission
10. Fortunes of Need
Starving stumps of leftover madness
Dissolve gradually
Untold furies burgeon in my mind
Stolen, self-swollen beauty
Echo me Narcissus
In the foreign lands of things to come
Where truculent acts against dignity
Will come to lose the keys to humanity
Showing me what not to be
The foe, king of an envious liege - devolved
His words, turning the wheels of disgust - untrue
Cleft hooves sprout in his neighbourig voice - doubting you all
Mounting our oceans of greed - fortunes
Fortunes of need
Precious remnants of sanctity
A stranger fiction wearing thin
Wronging him
Like the caress of a broken dream
In the foreign lands of things to come
Where truculent acts against dignity
Will come to lose the keys to humanity
Showing me what not to be
The foe, king of an envious liege - devolved
His words, turning the wheels of disgust - untrue
Cleft hooves sprout in his neighbourig voice - doubting you all
Mounting our oceans of greed - fortunes
Fortunes of need
11. Frightening and Obscene
Oceans of need my kept queen dream afloat,
She like the scales to play this game I've tried before;
And no one ever wins but the churning seas of abyss,
That balance our internal shadows - besieging and indiscriminate:
Frightening and obscene - fanning flames of blindness,
Preventing forbidden fruit to bear in mind such burns unkind;
I lower my torpid nocturnal grasp to gage their untempered flow,
Swamping me with a full warming throb Frightening and obscene.
I cannot yield to the unquestionable physicality
Of such a warming and alarming desire unexplainable sickness,
Starving me of my hunger,
As I watch the ones I love tear each other apart
To mirror the world around us: frightening and obscene.
The ruthless arrow of time,
Her perpetual expendable army of desecrated childhood dreams
Marching towards each other to die again too soon;
They kill in desperate glee, to mirror the worlds inside of me:
Tearing each other apart.
Oceans of need my kept queen dream afloat,
She like the scales to play this game I've tried before;
And no one ever wins but the churning seas of abyss,
That balance our internal shadows besieging and indiscriminate:
Frightening and obscene fanning flames of blindness,
Preventing forbidden fruit to bear in mind such burns unkind;
I lay here, bitterly, with rage I yearn to don the mask:
Careless, indiscriminate,
Frightening and obscene.
