1. A Fracture in Forever
2. Embracing the Absence
Brazen and benighted, all glaring turned to high
Beautified and battered, vast hallowed limbs are shattered by
Praises…presumptions, these naked words do build upon
An ever changing affinity, brought to light by this breaking dawn
Lured into a deep regression, stifled in repose
But slowly this torrent with black lights enclose
Banished breaths and enraptured eyes, wrapped and wrung to white ribbed skies
But failing…failing to turn the wise
Barehanded bereavements enfold as one
While colors collapse and briskly bow undone
Untouched designs resign unbound
To further spill between the time of no sound
Lured into a deep oppression stifled in repose
But slowly…slowly these garish lights enclose
Banished breaths and enraptured eyes, wrapped and wrung to white ribbed skies
But failing…failing to make more the wise
Faced by none
The climax in question’s begun
Beyond the pale of self decay
The widowed will cease to obey
Fixed on the heavens that split in two and rescind
Look to the other with sense and will shared in mass
(faced by none)
(beyond the pale of self decay)
3. Meridian's Tear
“always behind while building to none
Behold a beginning that’s swept up in one
(twisting in pair)
magnificent minds and the furious blind
tremble in calm for the days left behind
(within…meridian’s tear)”
Born from disease, misled to echo
Shaping delusions while memories grow
Filled with the sense to follow the cast
But blessed with the will to raise ill of the past
Trained by the word and hand to complete the strand
Encircled by a frame to abide the name
In every face lies the presence of one
In every voice cries the answer to come
Within the language of time, form, and thought
Replies the aware of what has been taught
Guided by a reason, to become or to betray
Embodied to a boundary that’s inner tides turn to portray
For every word that bleeds to beg, to vow, a plea to be
A cross to bear for a life chased but never free
from zero to end lay the stain of bonds left to mend
A subtle decay for the faith that remains of the day
See the shade
Of a wordless being, forced into seeing
Trace the way
Through inner resign and endless design
C3: In every choice lies the presence of one
In every breath cries the answers to come
Within the language of time, form, and sound
Betrays the aware of what has been found
Behind the seasons, an end to a change
(see the shade Where wisdom is broken of a wordless being forced into seeing,
Within the language of all that can be trace the way
Replies the unspoken through inner resign and endless design)
4. The End of Silence
disregard the afterthought
No future lies dormant
These black painted stars and faint leprous skies
Peer out in scarred torment
But how bitter grace dawns them
Two eyes shocked and worn thin
Without mention of past or future’s requiem
Torn from empty need
Though buried by lips of recourse
From light breaks a riven seed
And calls back the throe of remorse
the end of silence
Inhales the fragile side
The end of silence
Reflects on what’s been tied
hastened by the relevance
Whose seconds are tripled in esteem
Misshapen by regret
But crippled to redeem
A part that retires from mind
One vague moment in time
To covet a still life
And relive some half sight
Torn from empty need
Though buried by lips of recourse
From light breaks a riven seed
And calls back the throe of remorse
For all that’s come
the advent of all that’s come
And new words wrung
with new words and riddles rung
Atone the grief
intone for all the grief
For self belief
for the wages of self belief
embrace the absence
tune back and look inside
at the end of silence
no plea can be justified
For all that’s come
the advent of all that’s come
And new words wrung
with new words and riddles rung
Atone the grief
intone for all the grief
For self belief
for the wages of self belief
5. Scripted Suffering: Within and Without
I’ll always walk the path of thorns
My way will lead to cinders
For all the steps that I have borne
their wake’s my name in embers
Holding on the patterned throat
I’m drinking down the drowning words I wrote
These terms rename my altered blame
I’m a victim of my own design
“I’ll break the hand that pains me”
My hands are in motion for spite
Reaching out from the wound
that the tongue will incite
Setting free the moments reprieve
to slip away at the present
The ache of time can’t realign
for sake of this panic enlightened by misery
Behind the lines
Between the view
Lay the signs that fall through
From each mouth I crawl
To gain another fall
A common thread in place
To fray the form in grace
And sew the seem
My time is forced by my hand
To be within and without again
I can write myself into a better place
But how can I become without my own mistakes
Obscene in every form
I’ll bite down upon the vein
That keeps my body warm
I breath deep the paper and ink
That rest my spine upon the brink
Of leaves that bid a paler lid
So a verse may shudder and shrink
A drop in tone from wailing drone
from thumb to sheet till flesh to bone
It seems as though these lines repeat
in shortened space that’s willed alone
Why is this so familiar?
My time is forced by my hand
To be within and without again
I can write myself into a better place
But how can i become without my own space
6. Into the Vivid Cherishing
I shape the shadows that lament your final sighs
I hear their words again, causing all my shameless cries
Stricken down by inner bane, my words are overcome
Though speak to me softly…my senses are numb
If I had the words to say I'd take away this time
Be with me kindly this one last night
We belong to different times
where memories combine
(and) Into the Vivid Cherishing
I'll bless your life to mine
And now I watch as the final curtains fall
before your fading hazel auras
and I can't help but to expel a breath in prayer
to see them shine again
Timelessly captured in memory's sigh
The way that this moment is holding your life
I am as rain to the days passing shine
Speak to me darling this one last time
I have no voice and I must scream -
Waiting for the words to come so they might bring a moment
Just a moment of the past to ease our quiet closing
If I had the words to say, I'd speak of a million laughters
I'd speak of life and times together, to join again hereafter
Sometimes at the mornings rise
I forget you're gone
But when I realize the
sorrow takes my soul again
We belong to different times
Two different worlds
Into the Vivid Cherishing
Where all your words are mine
7. Sudden Faith - Part I
I press the temple of your name
With folded hands and bended shame
And every begging thought's obscured and cursed into the heavens
All my life spent in doubt
To bleed my freedom out
All this time spent in vain
In search of reasons
Sanctify my soul, satisfy my needs, numb my beliefs
Cast this servant down
Whose last words ring in righteous sound
Drifting through a pale life
Owing down the sacred
Until I'm caught between the black and gray
Do I turn forsaken
Take my hands away from me
To ungrasp heresy
Bless my cries with guilt and shame
For spiritual treason
Sanctify my soul, satisfy my needs, numb my beliefs,
Cast this servant down, whose last words ring in righteous sound
Where is your god tonight?
In my hour of self inflicted fate
I'll trade my words for a touch of sudden faith
(your hope, your trust, your life dies with me)
(your will, your dreams, your light dies with me)
8. Sudden Faith - Part II
Lay your eyes upon me child
So you might feel the touch of seasons
Gently weep under my adoring stars
Holding still as winds unite
But dare not ask from the divine
To share a single sign
Your hope
Your will
Your dreams
Your light
they rest in my hands
