1. Living in a Dream
We spend our lives in a worry
Living in a dream
Fighting each other for glory
Moving with the stream.
People and their rulers
Living in a dream.
Each day the sun sees new blood shed
Each day someone dies
Each night begins with the lament
Do you wonder why?
Mothers and their children
Living in a dream
As old as civilization
Anger rules our lives.
Only one true motivation
For a brutal strife
Truth, trance or illusion
We hear only scream
Such a sweet delusion
Living in a dream
2. Lost Forevermore
Our hearts are looking for the reasons
Deep down the abyss.
The blame for uncommitted treason.
The dream that was meant to be bliss.
Since one who's name must not be spoken
Has brought us to this ancient world
We dreamed to serve His sacred purpose
Keeping peace and space in whole.
Spirits damned for one desire
To fulfill plan to the core
Banned from joys and from the pyre,
Lost Forevermore
When third of us fixed on the power
World only for our kind
The rest have brought them from the tower
With crash. They vanished from the sight.
But we restrained from gore of battle
From murder of our former friends
They slew each other like a cattle
We won't bloodstain our hands.
Spirits banished from His care
Nothing but the pain in store.
Thus we fell to this despair
Lost Forevermore
And so hear the verdict ye who though not rebellious
Nor provided might which is your given to your brethren.
Ye are to see neither pain nor light of His lustrous glory.
Bound beyond all eternity ye will stay and contemplate on the ways of your treachery.
And so the verdict was pronounced
Hail to His dignity.
We stay beneath eternal clouds
Condemned for infinity.
When you will look upon the Heaven
In all it's splendor, grace and fame
Remember those who tried to save it
From brother killing flame
Spirits damned for one desire
To fulfill plan to the core
Banned from joys and from the pyre,
Lost Forevermore
3. All Ahead!
Bright in the morning trumpets are calling
We sail for the sea
No second chances, no worthless prayers
No regret or plea
Storms and strange omens stills and wild coasts
Only lie ahead
Why should we tremble Why should we quarrel
With this fate at hand.
All we know there's no returning
All we see the blocks are turning
Don't look back, the sails are flying
On the shore there's no one crying
All ahead! All ahead!
Greed for adventures, fortune and glory
Sail without remorse
Barrels are empty; bread's dry and rotten
Keep the present course
And no one's wailing no one is asking
For another fate
We won't regret it we are determined
Sea's our only mate
All we see our swords are sharpened
All we know there's much to happen
And we know we won't refuse it
And we see no point in loosing
All ahead! All ahead!
And only one home
For wild vagabond
Is bottom of endless and faultless sea
All ahead - There's no returning
All ahead - the fire's burning
All ahead - the flags are flying
All ahead - and no one's crying
All ahead! All ahead! All ahead! All ahead!
4. Riding with the King
I saw the miracle and knew it was for me
I heard the voice inside, it told me "Follow him"
And all my life has changed and feeling no regret
I left my home and field for quest for Holy Land
Sword in my hand
Dust in my throat
Riding with the King
Thousands miles
Scales on my chest
Riding with the King
And Holy land we found and wonders of the world
And desert sun there was and prophecies been told
And proud men there were with valor and long blades
They did not have much admiration for crusades
Sword in my hand
Blood on the ground
Riding with the King
Thirst in my flesh
Sands burning white
Riding with the King
And in this bloody land
Beneath the sun
I swore to my dead comrades
I'm not going back.
But life is strange place with so many things at stake
And lots of prophecies are said for money's sake
And our foe proved way too daring and too skilled
We're riding back without flag but with the King
Shield on my back
Blood on the ground
Riding with the King
Graves left behind Dead will not carp
Riding with the King
Never again I will be seen
Riding with the King
Children I'll tell
Never to be
Riding with the King
Riding with the King
Riding with the King
5. As Many Years (Go Passing By)
Every day and every night
Same lonely world
Blinding dark and senseless light
Stories untold
Empty feelings, cold and pale
Lonely weeping, soul’s for sale
As many years go passing by
I will stay the same
Bitter and alone
Keeping you in my flame
Emptiness is growing strong
Feeding from pain
Streets and homes are getting cold
Nobody’s to blame
Life’s without, pain’s within
Scream and shout, let me in
As many years go passing by
I will stay the same
Bitter and alone
Keeping you in my flame
As many years go passing by
I will keep this flame
Oh, it shines so bright
Lonely light in the shade
6. From the Shadows
From the shadows, out of silence, waiting, now my time comes.
Long I’ve slept for, always dreaming, passion, hunger, combined
Now I sense my soulless fire burning, yearning, released
Sorrow for my prey not felt, my coldness like the night.
Raping, feeding, feeling power, power from their downfall.
Nothing save the cries till sunrise, music of unholy night.
Thus forsaken, always hunted by the few who know me.
Through the ages none prove worthy and their blood I’ve savored.
Thus the hunt continues onward, this time fanned by passion,
He the father of a son whose soul now burns in me.
Round the world he journeys forth, revenge his only passion now,
Soon his life I’ll take and reunite him with fallen son.
Close he follows, near he reaches, tracking bodies I’ve left dry.
Flight I take, my wings spread wide, to sanctuary, home I fly.
So I stand to face my battle, one more soul I’ll send down.
Fathers, sons, they’re all the same, one by one they are mine.
Strong he fights and long he stands but in the end he falters.
Proud am I to claim his strength and drink now of his soul.
Power coursing through my veins, the passion quenching all my thirst.
So I’ll sleep to wake again when shadows call their silent song
7. The Liberator
A mighty and hideous dragon
Has conquered our beautiful land
By burning to ashes the gardens
And turning the rivers to sand.
Our army has proved unimportant,
They could not stand murderous flame
The generals ran for the water
While soldiers had died for their fame
Now we must respect the lizard
Try our best to serve and please it.
Fly! Monster in the sky
But conquest was not his intention
He cares the least for the throne
His eager and foremost attention
Was for human flesh, blood and bones
The dragon must eat every morning
And he has to eat quite a lot
He hunts down young women, he's horny
And eats them right there on the spot
So we need to find solution
Find someone for retribution
Come! Knight with shining sword
Liberate our land. We will wait
And one by one the knights have died
From flames or paws of the man-eater
Their swords and shields were put in pile
To daunt the future competitors
Nor princess' beauty, neither gold
Could anymore attract contenders
The judgment of the beast will hold
And no one’s there to defend us.
And in these grim and desolated days
The council gathered to look for the way.
We needed means to pacify the brute,
To get control on his licentious loot.
Then one of old and wise raised from his seat
He said that we should sacrifice a bit
We must decide ourselves who would be used
As food and thus we will protect our youth
Now we made up our minds
Beast we will pro-vide Every night
We fed it with weaklings and ailing
With criminals real and forged
So dragon grew fat and ungainly
It could not fly high anymore
It stays in its cave stuffed and sated
And no one depraves our land.
We prosper and feel quite protected
By wise who has glory well gained
Now he moved inside the castle
Married princess without hassle
And we call him Liberator,
Mighty Dragon Subjugator
Hail! Potent overlord
Flourish in the world
Land will hold!
We, we will never think
To forget your deed
Your bright wit.
8. Final Serenade
I walk silently alone at night down rain drenched streets
Calling out your name, yet silence remains
Through the alley, through the gutter, hoping we’ll meet
But I’m way too wise, I’ve seen you eyes, you’re never coming back.
I stare at your window, but I can’t see you, you’re turning away from me.
And I count the hours that you don’t call me, I feel you slipping away
Against my will I’m crying for you.
Words don’t mean a thing when you can’t hear, I speak them anyway.
Hoping that I am wrong and you still love me
For a moment, just a moment, the hope lingers on
But I’m way too wise, I’ve seen you eyes, you’re never coming back.
I stare at your window, but I can’t see you, you’re turning away from me.
And I count the hours that you don’t call me, I feel you slipping away
Against my will I’m crying for you.
My heart was never safe, I didn’t care because
I saw in your eyes the one who’d make me me
Yet I knew I’d wake one day and you would not be there
For a moment, just a moment, the hope lingers on
But I’m way too wise, I’ve seen you eyes, you’re never coming back.
I stare at your window, but I can’t see you, you’re turning away from me.
And I count the hours that you don’t call me, I feel you slipping away
Against my will I’m crying for you.
