1. Intermezzo
2. Phalanx Inferna
The sun stood hot over the battlefield,
it was the year 1366.
A phalanx from hades had yet invaded
and the last battalion prepared for counterattack.
Burning arrows penetrated the whirring heat
and arms drenched in blood craved for revenge.
Bestial screams even resounded from snowy mountains at the far horizon and were only drowned out by the thunderous stamping of this marching crowd.
Crossbows were bend, lances were levelled, to hail down on the cohorts of death.
Hindsights were closed, cannons were loaded, to blast down the army of hate,
to prevent the threatening conquest and not to be trapped into slavery.
Battle axes were sparkling in the sun light,
craving for chopping some flesh,
effusing a shine of forthcoming decease.
Cannons were thundering, gun emplacements positioned,
to support the vanguard on its advance.
Troops of riders were encircling the enemy, a blood curdling thriller was to be launched.
Thousands of soldiers were murdered.
They died for a disgraceful master.
Their blood would quench the thirst of the triumphant horde of evil and would strengthen their pride to rule forever.
3. Summon the Horde
As stormclouds gather and thunders shatter the hopes of the ancient,
stormtroops are marching under the banner of hate and revenge.
They are massacring, guided by voices of darkness.
Darkness
This is the hour of truth and new power,
enthralling the warriors, alliance of evil.
Hoof beat promulgates the law of the future fate.
Bend down before the master in everlasting slavery.
Summon the horde, die for your lord.
Summon the horde, heal with your sword
the wounds of the past and cast a shadow of mercilessness and eternal darkness.
4. Evoking the Beasts in Twilight
Those who strife in twilight were banished from the light
but they were never allowed to enter hell.
Damned to rule in no mans land they have noticed my grievance.
They should understand, which sorrow torments me.
In oblivion I here want to see my painful past.
The conspiracy, which afflicted me, is overthrowed.
I am searching for a guarding force to lead me on my path.
As the nightfall close upon this deserted land,
I prepare myself to make the supreme sacrifice.
I subdue my presence to your protecting will.
With strict observance I accept your rules.
I obey the beasts of this conflicting world.
Without hesitation I will serve you,
forever and ever in everlasting availability.
I dedicate my work to the survival of your creation.
I invoke you to exalt me to your species.
Evoking the beasts in twilight!
This is the assignment,
which I have to fullfill,
with all conviction
I will surrender twilight.
Twilight embraces me,
twilight preserves me,
oh beasts hear my call,
guide me on my path
when I discover redemption.
5. The Ascend of my Demise
The sun red glowing climbs down into the far frothing silver glancing sea.
My mind is filled with corruption and my heart reveals his disharmony.
From autumnal dawning cloudveils a sorrowfully death pale countenance breaks forth,
followed by the delightful breath of night.
The pictures of past are not effaced.
The spirit of shivers is still burning in my heart.
The manifestation of truth enriches yester forces.
Is this my hell which prevails over bitterness?
Once they shone at my heaven, adorned by my light of yesterdays fight,
purely united in profound veracity.
There has never been a doubt on their existence but they were consigned to oblivion.
Is this my hell which prevails over bitterness?
Now the roaring of the sparkling waves derides the nostalgia for tranquillity.
Only the ruffling of the froth is spread like a cloak of silence.
At night, when the sea rocks the splendour of the stars,
I spread my wings, awaiting the ascent of my demise.
I spread my wings, awaiting the ascent of my demise.
6. Forlorn in Distress
The last stars are twinkling on the firmament,
haze rises up darkening those stars.
A tyrant wields the sceptre, who lures with subterfuge,
yester thoughts of liberty resign themselves to servitude.
Forlorn in distress,
lonesome in restless pain.
Although I yearn for my quietus or for reprieve,
thou holdst me enthralled, enterst my subconscious.
Deep in my mind I hear the sign
and I realise that my heart is thine.
My last stars are hiding on the firmament,
thou hast risen up, darkened those stars.
Thou smotherst light, makest dry up my fountains,
enshroudst my glint, henceforth I belong to thee.
Forlorn in distress,
lonesome in restless pain.
7. Eviscerated Carcass
Standing on a cliff, I face the decisive battle.
Streams of blood merging with the water in this malicious ambush.
Eviscerated carcasses of my ancestors float on the waves
of transitoriness, should I share this fate?
It’s just one step into another world
to reach the verdict to enter a new mortal life.
Or is this only a wandering
through some nightmares which haunt me at night?
Is this the moment to get the chance
to guide my race out of this agony?
Should I take them under my aegis
and doom them to a uncertain destiny?
I have ever been afraid of this moment.
An inner voice screams:
plunge into salvation!
I will follow, I will do it, no leave off!
The cadaverous smell of this carnage, corrodes my face
and burns its way to the secret region of my mind,
I fight the war with sanity and it turns out that there is only one decision:
It’s just one step into another world
to reach the verdict to enter a new mortal live.
Or is this only a wandering
through some nightmares which haunt me at night?
Is this the moment to get the chance
to guide my race out of this agony?
Should I take them under my aegis
and doom them to a uncertain destiny. . .
which has arrived.
8. Odland
The wind streaks the last green and the summer days have passed.
Fog engulfs the forest, in odor andtwilight world descends.
A last ray of the old bliss trickles over the valley
and scathes the darkened site, forest and heath shine
like a spring days reflection glistens on the skin of winter.
Why should this all fade away?
Wandering through a deep glen, where no
rememberance of bright days is left.
Leaves are melting the moisture of the air,
languishing for the last elixir of life.
Soon only drought boughs will rise
to the welkin at dusk,
to demand a ray of dying life.
Shadows, who have been holding their protecting hands over this idyll,
grow pale in this embrace of final salvation.
While this evening is dozing,
I bestow my favour on the discord of this ambience.
The autumnal wind endresses the universe in shroud and his moaning dies away in eternity.
Coldness enthrones the warming fulfillment,
which spoiled me and draws the veil of oblivion over the scene.
A last breath is being exhausted to bottomless abyss,
and the land drowns down in everlasting dust.
9. Endarken my Spirit
Entering the hall of almighty wisdom,
I restrain my desire.
Gliding down the stairway to cognition,
I ask myself:
Here I should find the truth?
Is this the vision, which raped me in my dreams?
Here I should find elder knowledge,
to take vengeance on my bereaved?
Coldness burns my face, enlighted by blazing torches.
The nervous reflections on the ancient decaying walls are hastening me to the deepest secret vaults.
This long desired feeling embraces me.
In supreme devotion, I listen to the words of the emperor:
To truly know the light, you must first know true darkness!
The perfection of this recognition overwhelms me.
This raggedness, which has distorted me,
dissolves a purification of my inconceivable doubts,
encourages the unswerving loyalty to superiority.
The obsession to follow the command seizes me.
10. The Coming of the Storm
A cruel night surrounds me.
Cold and sombre shines my grave.
Winds, torn off, are wailing the tales of my death.
Snow smooths down the land vanishing the vestige of forgotten wars.
Under a shroud of winter all life oozed away.
A starless sky stares down with empty eyes on glancing fields.
A last rebellion of the light is devoured by bottomless abyss.
A book of reign is closed by terror and disobedient force.
Where once my power ruled, now my estate withers.
Doubtlessly this season will extricate of this entwining skin
but my welking face will tyrannize your frozen mind,
unable to believe, how all this splendour could grow pale.
You enchanted me as I ruled undefeated,
you invaded me, I thought to have no feebleness.
You tried to subjugate me but I am the eternal goddess.
My wrath is your ruin, mould in damnation!
Wintry silence covers this violence but ressurection is awaiting me, yearning for me.
Winds, torn off, are rushing through the land of my hate.
Icy calls die away blasting down the hope of eternal peace.
Your descendants will be slaughtered and all remembrance erased.
Your lifework will be destroyed and never to be built up again.
Wintry violence drowns out the silence, renascented bondage is spread by me.
Under a shroud of winter all life oozed away.
A starlit sky stares down with burning eyes on glancing fields.
A new rebellion of the light forges ahead to bottomless abyss.
A book of reign is opened by terror and disobedient force.
Where once thy power ruled, now thy estate withers.
Doubtlessly this season will extricate of this entwining skin
but my laughing mug will tyrannize your frozen mind, unable to believe,
how all this splendour could ever grow pale.
11. Acceeding the Throne of Devastation
Quietly and peacefully the town lies beyond my feet.
Estranged, but charming, she presents her amazing flair.
The wind strokes her countenance and cools the heated old ruins.
The remembrance of a glorious time awakes, as heroes became history.
The sunlight broke at gilt merlons and illuminated the pride of her inhabitants.
From the roofs of the castle, the flags of the empire blew,
never to be beaten and seeming to be immortal.
The knights, that promenaded through the streets,
spread a power that would not have been to be questioned in worst nightmares.
No army of the world would have dared to storm it in fear of a sure defeat.
A morning, as like usual, a blazing sunbeam awakened life,
a certain unrest was perceptible.
An old man told about strange shouts and tones, that had shocked the night,
but people didn’t take him seriously.
People stared entranced to the northern bay window,
from which a creature left, which let their blood freeze.
Persecuted by horror, the people looked for protection in the houses,
that had not yet been grasped by the fire.
However, the creature rose above in unnatural size
and announced the death sentence over a whole empire:
You held me in chains for centuries, ignored my calls and my mourning,
now the time of my revenge has come, and it will be a cruel one.
I only remember the screeching, as its claws buried themselves into houses and impaled the remained.
Nobody survived besides me, hidden in the dark vault of the castle,
I could therefore rescue me.
