1. Restoration
I recall a time of my days
on the rich fields of the Firmlands,
Intoxicated by the sway of the fengrass trees...
I have never seen a season like this one,
a season so consumed with weakness...
I think that the energy, which is to revive
The Earth in eight moons hence,
has sailed over the horizon
and melted into the Sun.
Ravaged oceans of limitless compass
now seem to radiate a rich blue-green...
Unless my eyes deceive me, I see her returning...
Fortitude is the wind in her sails high,
For all mankind to see...
2. Ivy
The stars of old remain here
to guide us through all our years...
With life the tides move in, in tune with seasons...
Fateful waters, the seas bloomed with life
to create such wonder, the lightning that strikes...
Thus we have come in search of the reasons of life
Falling leaves circle her
whose frail hands reach to the Sun...
The light shines in rays upon her hair
and the healing songs have begun.
Like the great sunrise at the edge of the Earth,
you too will understand the infinite Ivy
which weaves all things as one...
3. To Dance by Moonlight
You and I will survive
even though our time is through
I still dream of the night we danced by the moon
The wind blows, the moon is high
the ghosts danced at our sides
I never knew that we could fly
but I think we took to the sky
Now I stand alone thinking of times that are gone
I see you in dreams
Nothing is what it seems
The ardent smile fades away
Cold winds have come again
The warmest of emotions
That gift that bounds us
but it was taken from me
Is it to be found again?
The wind blows, the moon is high
the ghosts danced at our side
I never knew that we could fly
but I think we took to the sky
I will search all of the land to see you again
For now I'll just pretend to be holding your hand
4. Remember the Stars
Forever looking to the skies above
Rest child, worry not, for all things come in time
And you will see
I hear you calling
My friend, where are you?
Trapped in your reality...
I'd help you, if I could
But you must look inside
and you will see
I hear you calling
Deep within, far and wide without
the vastness of both...
How can it be that we've come to this place?
Or are we really here at all?
Well listen to the wind and look to the stars above,
and remember who you are
For we're all still so young
I hear you calling
Remember the stars for they will guide you through the windows of dreams
5. The Red and the Black
Drowning in the same sea,
I can find no shore.
Am I to suffer forever in memory?
Was I among the fallen
To be cursed for life, where do I turn?
The cold winds have come again
and I have no shelter...
My wounds are deep and open,
waiting to be healed...
Was I among the fallen,
To be cursed in life, where do I turn?
Born with a blackened heart for what?
I did not ask to be this way...
but it is all I know
Again burned by the same flame
To tear my heart and burn my mind
So deep is my sorrow and hate
I just want to know why...
Visions of this break my soul
into a thousand peices,
Demons may lash at me
but I hold a wicked flame of spirit that will burn
The cruelest enemy, I'll slash away
Their wings and open halls in their minds
so that they may all ARISE...
6. The Calling
...and it is so much easier to hate you
than to acknowledge you
7. Fire the Night
Now I see the secret of making the best persons
It is to grow in the open air
and eat and sleep with the earth
Lonely sad, I'm sleeping, dreaming of the Sun
I'm waiting for something
The sounds of Winter's night
and the cold rain raining,
While I stand alone watching the oldest fire burning
