There are multiple artists of the same name:
(1) Kronos was formed in 1994 in Thaon-les-Vosges (North-east of France) by Mike & Grams. The band played at this point some Heavy-thrash-metal. Two years later, Kristof joins the band for the vocals. Kronos started then to play Death Metal music and recorded its first demo called Outrance. In 1999, Tom joined the band. Kronos is now definitely oriented towards 'Brutal Death Metal' and speaks about ancient mythology (especially Greek). The following year the recording of a new demo Split Promo 2000 containing 4 titles is finalized.

The long awaited first album “Titan's Awakening” was released in 2001. This first edition of this album was produced by the band itself. The band has then been acclaimed by critics and got its first contract with the label Warpath Records (former Shockwave). A new edition of Titan's Awakening is released at the end of October the same year with a new cover designed by Deather (Angel Corpse, Gurkkhas, Vital Remains...) as well as a new graphical booklet. Richard joined the adventure and plays the lead guitar from 2003.

The band signs a contract for two upcoming albums with the new Spanish label Xtreem music managed by Dave Rotten from the band Avulsed.

The second album was released in 2004 and is named “Colossal Titan Strife”. The album has received a lot of very good reviews all over the world and the sells are very good. Thanks to that, the band is more and more reputed towards the extreme music scene and plays more and more concerts in all Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Cz. Rep, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Poland…) during 2004-2005-2006 with many goods international bands like: Deeds of flesh, Fleshless, Vile, Disfear, Pungent Stench, Devilyn and Avulsed

After a long period of concerts, Kronos entered the famous Hertz Studio (Vader, Decapitation, Trauma, Hate) in Bialystok (Poland), in July 2006 to record the new album called “The Hellenic Terror” which has been released in April 2007. Once again, this is a mythological concept album talking about the creatures of the ancient Greece.

Kronos have just recently signed a feal with Neurotic Records. After briefly negotiating with the band they signed a recording agreement with Neurotic Records. The band expects to deliver their first album for Neurotic Records in 2009.

(2) Kronos is a colombian hard rock band formed in 1987 by David Corkidi (guitar), Isi Toledo (drums), Felipe Suárez (bass) and Peter Shroeder (lead vocals). In 1989 Jorge Fresquet and Andrés Morathey were included into the band instead of Shroeder and Suárez. They released their first album Volver a Empezar in 1993 and have shared gigs with bands like Guns'N Roses, Kraken and Rata Blanca.
Their big hits are "Fuego en mis venas", "El Rotito", "Igual que ayer" and "Todo está bien".
