Kill The Romance was founded in Finland in the beginning of the 2004 by Mika Tanttu and Ville Hovi. Lineup was completed by guitarists Tomi Luoma and Antti Kokkonen. In 2005 Raimo Posti joined the gang of Killers. Kill The Romance rises from the ashes of members previous band. Idea of putting Kill The Romance together was to make straight metal with balls and attitude.

The band recorded their new self-entitled mini-cd in July 2004. It got some great reviews from all over the world. The band made a promotion contract with RiseStar label. In January 2005 Kill The Romance was chosen from over 150 unsigned bands to play in the Finnish Metal Expo Hilselinko finals. The band played also in St. Petersburg in Russia but after that the band started to write immediately new material.

In June 2005 Kill The Romance released their new 4-track single Logical Killing Project. Once again there was flying good reviews. After the release the band toured a quite heavily in Finland. The band also made a contract with Dethrone Music booking agency.

Kill The Romance is still looking for serious contract from record labels. New promo record "Cyanide" is coming to your way in July-April 2006. Most aggressive, most neck breaking release in Kill The Romance's history. Be prepared!!

In 2006 Kill The Romance decided to make everything to achieve a record contract.
Ep called “Cyanide” was recorded and big promotion “campaign” started.
“Cyanide” was chosen to “demo of the month” in biggest finnish music magazine
Soundi. Kill The Romance was also chosen from hundreds of demo bands to play
in Wacken Open Air Metal Festival’s bands battle final in Finland.

In fall 2006 Locomotive Records inked a deal with Kill The Romance. Straight after
that the band started to record their debut album “Take Another Life”, tentatively
due in March 2007 via Locomotive Music.
