HYUBRIS BIOGRAPHY
Portuguese heavy/folk metal band, with Celtic roots, from Tramagal.
Since 2001 Portuguese band HYUBRIS, never more stopped to play. Lulla (battery), Panda (Bass e Portuguese Guitar), João David (Keyboard keys), Jorge Cardoso (guitars) and Filipa Mota (voice and Flute), has come to gain the recognition of the public with a proper and very original noise, coming of a rock/metal base, also enclosing territories as progressive or celta/medieval or even Portuguese popular music. They carry the sweetness from the honey and the bite of the sting, the light and the darkness, the sound and silence, the past and the gift! Dreams of witches, fairies and the veneration of a Goddess Mother. In 2001 they launch the Ep “Desafio” and consolidate in the end of 2005, it’s work with the edition of the self-titled album “Hyubris” that presents 12 songs, recorded in Portugal (Oporto) in the studios “Rec' N' Roll”, with production of Luis Barros, and mastered by Tommy Newton at Area 51 Recording Studios, Germany.
