DIGGER BIOGRAPHY
There are at least three bands with this name.
1) Digger is a lyric driven pop punk band who were from Allentown PA. Their members changed over the years (1996-2002) but their sound reamined the same. Good energetic pop punk.
2) Digger is a band from Poland
3) Digger was the name for the German heavy metal band Grave Digger for a short period of time. The band worked under the name Grave Digger from 1980 (the year the band was formed) to 1987, when their original guitarist Peter Masson departed and was replaced by new guitarist Uwe Lulis. So during the same year the band's name was changed to Digger, the name under which they released the album Stronger Than Ever. Whereas Grave Digger had been and still is known for the heavy metal style, Digger's album Stronger Than Ever represented music according more to hard rock such as Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Van Halen. However, the album flopped drastically and as a result, Chris Boltendahl, the frontman of the band, declared the break up of the band by the end of year 1987. In 1991 they made a comeback and started working under the original name Grave Digger again.
