DARKANE BIOGRAPHY
Darkane was formed in Sweden and have released 4 albums to date.
The first album featured Lawrence Mackory, who had a much more death metal influenced voice. After 1998's Rusted Angel, Andreas Sydow was recruited, and has handled vocals on the remaining three albums, Insanity, Expanding Senses, and Layers of Lies.
Darkane play a melodic death/thrash metal combination. The guitars are rather technical, and Peter Wildoer on drums makes for an interesting percussive experience. Complex rhythms meshed with modern death and thrash blastbeats make for an interesting mix. Andreas' vocals are extremely diverse, with great range. They may reminisce of Thrash, Power, Death, or Black metal at any given time.
