Formerly known as 'Winterfell', 'Dagoth Ur' was band consisted of three friends: Dagoth (former, aka 'Rugiewit' from band 'Slavogorje'), Bubi and Gomba. Music genre is mix of different styles, as Melodic Death/Heavy/Thrash Metal and Ambiental music. Songs' themes are based on the fantasy novels and fictional worlds, for example: The Elder Scrolls PC-game series, Middle-Earth literature, Dungeons & Dragons RPG, 'A Song of Ice and Fire' saga by George R. R. Martin,...

Now, 'Dagoth Ur' is on hold, because of college and other band projects (Slavogorje,...).

Update 3.10.2007:

These days Dagoth began with the recording for the first Dagoth Ur's full-length release. Although it has no name still, it will be consisted more of piano parts and neoclassical accents (in mystical medieval atmosphere). Two (of seven, I guess) songs are already done, and one is available for listening on myspace (A Song For Arbonne: Spring And Summer). The album will be recorded during this winter.
