CRIMSON MASSACRE BIOGRAPHY
Crimson Massacre was conceived in 2001 by James Jackson on guitar duties and Robert VanVeghel on percussion, but the hatching didn't commence until 2002 with the departure of Bob VanVeghel and the initial recording of Temple of Gore through May-September of 2002. The line up consisted of James Jackson, Dustin Lukey and an individual commonly reffered to as Krullenzith. Dustin Lukey left the entity after the completion of one song. Upon completion of Temple of Gore an additional guitarist "DeadAeons" joined up, and soon after Scott Horne decided he should contribute his percussion abilities in the long term of the band. This four piece remained constant, with the cycling in and out of numerous bassists, until December of 2003. Between the period of late 02 and 03 constant appearances across the southern United States and a handful on the east coast and midwest plus a show in Mexico constituted the band's livelihood in terms of touring for that season. "As the Sun Burns", a split with a few other houston based acts was recorded at the end of 2003, prior to DeadAeons and Krullenzith projecting their efforts in to Gates of Enoch. That same instance saw Crimson Massacre recruiting the theoretically affluent Bill Ledgerwood on guitar and the dubious Sean Cook on vocals. A 2004 promo was drafted in march 2004, with an opening slot with Dark Funeral in Monterey prior to the demo recording. Sean realized the direction he should ultimately allocate his energies in life, and chose to act on that around August 2004 thus creating a vocalist vacancy. This was two months after the completion of a European tour. During this entire duration songs were being assembled for the release of "The Luster of Pandemonium". Peter Olen from Dark Faith was recruited on vocals and the band recorded the afforementioned album in December 2004. Since then, one show has been played and the band's social presence has been gratifyngly minimal, but unfortunately for those who don't want to hear it, the release of The Luster of Pandemonium has taken place.
