A three-piece stoner rock band from the US. The band split up some time after "The Hustle is On" was released. Guitarist Finn Ryan is currently a member of The Atomic Bitchwax, playing on their last 2 albums.

Core is a Ambient-Noise project associated to the post-industrial group Cranioclast. There is not so much known about them. All three Core releases (at the end of the eighties) used field recordings made in abandoned factorys and buildings as basic source, to create a unique post-industrial soundscape.
