Censored(2) are an up and coming band from the East Midlands. Consisting of Matt, Chris and Nathan. They make glorious indie-pop with influences ranging from Small Faces to Paul Weller and the Jam to Oasis, Primal Scream, Charlatans and the Beatles. The lyrics reflect life growing up in a dead-end industrial town (see Lonesome Town, All You Gotta Do Is Ask) as well as nods to local famous places and people (Play The Game) as well as their own heroes (next single as of Autumn 2007 - In The Presence of the Lord).
They run their own club nights called Club SOS on the last Saturday of the month at Junktion 7, often playing to a sold out crowd and including national up and coming bands. The next night on 29th September 2007 includes a headline slot from the Underground Heroes.
