BUDGIE BIOGRAPHY
Budgie was one of the many bands credited with the creation of heavy metal. It would be unfair to descibe Budgie as Welsh because they are truly of The Valleys, one the narrowest communities in the world. Budgie inflicted more aural damage on their fans than any other band; many front row survivors bearing the tell-tale groove in the temple from Shelley's swinging bass. The Budgie genes were passed on to all subsequent Valleys bands who continue to be the only musicians truly in love with their frets.
