Antarktis Utopia is a Finnish band that plays metal. Music is mostly derived from the death metal mold nowadays but other influences, like the occasional Gothenburg(tm) and black metal ones, are apparent as well.

In November 2005 they put up their fourth three-song demo called Self-destruction. It turned band's music more death metal-type material compared to previous now unavailable demos.

Continuing on their death metal path the band kept on rehearsing and made more songs. In summer/fall 2006 they recorded some of them which would later become their first full-lenght album, perhaps somewhat cryptically titled "030550". The album was released on January 5th, 2007.
