Angelcrypt is a melodic thrash metal band hailing from Malta. They're influenced by various major names like Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, etc.

This band started off in 1997, under the name Rattlesnake. It had three members: Josef Bray(Drummer), Shawn Mizzi(Guitarist) and Nicholas Bray(Keyboardist). They searched for more band members for around three years, and in the year 2000 they recruited bass player Kevin Pisani. Shortly after, they found Juan Xerri to be the main vocalist, and also the band's frontman.

They have produced one original album and one tribute album, respectively From Abyss to Glory and Eagleution - A Tribute to Saxon. They also released a Thou Shalt Die single, and an unreleased Epileptic Lullaby single is available in From Abyss to Glory.
