Lóge created the first music of what would become Alverg aound the winter of 2002.

By the summer of 2003 the music had formed into an idea and a concept. A four track demo was recorded, with the help of Dezartog on drums, and Broder Magnus on piano.

This demo was sent around to a few record companies, and resulted in a deal with Karmageddon Media spring 2004.

Additional help was needed. Nemesis joined on bass. New tracks were made during the winter of 2003-2004 and Alverg recorded its debut album with Myrkar playing grand piano the authumn of 2004.

On December 4th 2005 news came that Alverg had ended the contract with Karmageddon and will now remix the album before making any new attempts at getting a new deal elsewhere.

As of today, is seems that the band is in hiatus.
