Across Tundras was formed in the spring of 2004 and fully actualized in the fall. Born of dead, brown leaves and a ground that bleeds away the green only to be frozen to bone, this is true beauty and catharsis. Fragile hearted beware, you may be sucked down as well. From Denver, CO by way of Sioux Falls, SD... the music can be as sparse and desolate as that midwestern prairie and as imposing and majestic as mountains where the members now dwell, this is an epic tale that has only just begun. Although newcomers to the Denver music scene, Across Tundras are no strangers to the open road, bars, basements, bathrooms, legion halls, or anywhere else you can plug in an amplifier. Members have spent time playing in bands such as Examination of The..., Spirit of Versailles, and The Hangman Quotient. Touring the country multiple times, booking shows, releasing records, running a label, and putting every ounce of being into this, Across Tundras are no strangers to the hard work it takes make music for the masses. Don't let their old bands fool you though, this isn't some old screamo rehash. This is a new chapter, experimental and progressive, yet with a sound that's firmly rooted in the heavy with an overall classic and timeless feel.
