7th Nemesis is a band from the region of Paris, France founded in 2000, giving themselves the objective to combine the extreme violence of Metal with the complex structures of progressive rock.

In April of 2002, the band recorded their first promo CD which would be exclusively distributed with magazines and websites across the world, giving them the opportunity to showcase their music in over 40 different countries.

Strong from their successful promotional CD, 7th Nemesis was contacted by Skull Fucked Prod to record a Split CD with Punishment from Austria, which would be released in September of 2003.

Following a number of concerts in Europe, a change of lineup would took place, (Xavier (guitarist) was replaced by Niko (ex-Korum), Andrew (drummer) was replaced by Dagulard (Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition), and Mat (bassist) by Alex G) which would be followed by a hiatus of 2 years. 7th Nemesis have now returned with their first album, Violentia Imperatrix Mundi, the first of a tetra-logy.

7th Nemesis est un groupe de la région parisienne fondé en décembre 2000 s'étant donné pour objectif, dès son origine, de mêler la violence du Metal extrême avec la complexité des structures du Rock progressif.

En avril 2002, le groupe enregistre un 1er Promo CD qui sera exclusivement distribué aux magazines et webzines à travers toute la planète leur permettant ainsi de recueillir près de 200 chroniques de 40 pays différents.

Fort de ce succès, 7th Nemesis est contacté par Skull Fucked Prod pour enregistrer un Split CD avec le groupe autrichien Punishment qui sortira en Septembre 2003.

Après quelques concerts en Europe, des changements de line-up (départ de Xavier (Guitariste) remplacé par Niko (ex-Korum), Andrew (Batteur) par Dagulard (Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition) & Mat (Bassiste) par Alex G.) et une inactivité de deux ans, 7th Nemesis est maintenant de retour avec un 1er album, "Violentia Imperatrix Mundi", le premier d’une tétralogie.
